Good Update “1.1” – Hope they also update the manual to explain the new features.

My favourite addition in the 1.1 update:

Quick Panel Load via MENU + SAVE:
○ The sound switches to the current position of the knobs and
sliders. The current preset is ignored and the settings that appear
on the panel are now the sound that you hear.
○ Any modulation routings, FX section settings and sequencer/arp
settings will remain unaffected.

In reply to Synth Anatomy. Different power source, and if it's still an issue get an ADUM3160 adapter. They're pretty cheap, and mine completely removed some very aggressive noise I had on USB-powered mini synths.

Amazing synth but why is it not possible to initialize a patch?? It’s crazy to me that such a basic synth feature isn’t available at that price..

Great sounding synths, that on demos always sound impressive however they are not finished products! And I don’t mean that it needs a firmware fix, I mean they are not well engineered! Period! From bleed through, to unreliable hardware, it’s disappointing that they continue to get away with this because if the sound!

Dreadbox always sound good.

My Typhon sounds great.

However, I’m still waiting on CCs sent out from the front-panel controls.

How is a basic feature left out… on V4 of Typhon firmware, no sign of it still.

And yet they’ve had time to release new synths since then.

In reply to Synth Anatomy. The USB power is really key. I was using a quality USB power source and the synth still felt wonky. Tuning wasn't stable. It changed when the shift button was lit. I then starte trying other USB power i had around. Ended up with the cheapest genuine Apple USB charger. The synth now works fine.

I love how their stuff sounds and have owned a fair few of their synths but not sure the cost of this one is justified as it just doesn’t seem feature rich enough to justify it.

Very similar here being disappointed by Dreadbox. I had the Typhon which constantly bled noise. I bought their splitter but it didn’t work with my model number. When I emailed about another solution they sent me a link to a Reddit post which required me open the unit and do some soldering which I do not have experience in and wasn’t about to test on a £350 priced unit. Wasn’t happy with the advice and sold the device on. Tarnished their devices which is a shame as on paper they are great
