WORNG Electronics Quiver is a new all-analog patch-programmable modulation hub packed with flexible modulators.

A modular Synthesizer thrives on modulation. Unlike traditional synthesizers, you’re not limited to the built-in modulators. You can constantly inject new energy into a system with new modulators. The only downer is the space, which isn’t infinite in your case.

WORNG Electronics has released the Quiver, an exciting new modulation hub that combines many of the features typically found in individual modules into one module. It not only bundles them into a patchable hub but also offers more.

Quiver is a new 14HP modulation powerhouse for Eurorack modular synths. It follows a unique 100% analog, patch-programmable modulation concept, where a variety of functions are distributed across a patch panel with 16 inputs and 18 outputs.

The core of the Worng Electronics Quiver is the patch matrix with which you can influence the behavior of the module with your patching.

For example, when left unpatched, the different processors flow seamlessly from one to the next, thanks to cleverly designed normalization, providing 18 modulation sources to utilize throughout your system.

Thanks to the clever design and normalization of functions, the Quiver module is a mini modular system in itself that constantly generates evolving modulation. There are plenty of built-in modulation and utilities to explore.

Functions

Quiver has four triangle core LFOs on the menu, each with a different base rate, increasing from left to right. They can be individually tweaked and controlled using a macro control and CV.

While each LFO has its own output, the first LFO also has a secondary inverted and filtered output. Additionally, a cross-modulation option is available for the LFOs, offering more advanced patching possibilities.

Then, it offers an analog wave folder/saw phase shifter, a full-wave rectifier, and an analog noise source. Additionally, you can work with a voltage comparator, a sample-and-hold processor, and an analog min/max processor.

Another key feature of the module is that it hosts a modulation cube with three inputs and six outputs, based on the Vector Space module’s circuitry.

Further, each section of the WORNG Electronics Quiver has its voltage inputs, which can be patched individually. You can also process any other voltage source you have in your system with it, giving you even more modulation option.

Each output has an LED to clearly indicate the voltage, meaning you’re never in the dark about what your modulation is doing.

First Impression

At first glance, this is an exciting approach to an analog modulation module. I appreciate the fact that it features many useful functions in a still compact module. Also, it’s neat that you can CV modulate everything and break them up to go deeper.

WORNG Electronics Quiver is available now for pre-order for $349/344€
